From there, the album pushes toward the light with fan favorites “A Brighter Future” and “Moving Goals,” which wrestle with personal growth, uncertainty, and healing, before the closing track reflects on the trauma of this tumultuous journey. Heavy and emotionally grounded, “The Darkest Horizon” acknowledges how frightening life can become while insisting that hope and forward motion are both necessary and possible.
